Product description:
Chevron belts transport bulk or packed materials on a steep slope, the design reduces the risk of slipping or falling back, even transportation on an inclined plane. Compared with flat belts, a larger quantity of materials can be transported, and the top cover and profile are moulded in one piece for better adhesion and resistance.

Chevron belts are for general use, some models are specially made to be oil-resistant or abrasion-resistant, with all the usual characteristics of flat belts. They can provide optimum performance in a wide range of temperatures, from below freezing at -25ºC up to +150ºC, depending on the type.

Within the carcass of the belt, the insertions can be made from polyester/polyamide (EP) or nylon/nylon(NN).
NN belt is the combination of Nylon in warp and weft and it is widely used in multi-ply conveyor belts for transporting bulk or lumpy materials.

Selection of a type and height of profiles depends on the material to be conveyed and the angle of inclination:


Belt Application:

• quarries, sandpits
• cement works, lime works
• farming: conveying of beets, grains, potatoes, fertilizers, wooden chips
• coal and coke transport
• sugar refineries
• salt mines
• recycling: garbage
• Approximately 30 degrees for slightly rolling materials: gravel, coal, etc.
• Approximately 40 degrees for clumping or sticky materials: wet sand or earth.
• For greater inclined angles, side wall belting may be more suitable.
