 Introduction of Scrapper Conveyor

       A conveyor that uses a scraper chain to pull and transport bulk material is called a scraper conveyor. Scraper conveyors are similar to the chain conveyors in design. However, in contrast to chain conveyors, their trough is open on top, which makes them suitable for conveying material only horizontally or at small degrees of inclination. And the flights (scrapers) push the material being conveyed on the enclosure floor so that it can be discharged later on.

      The conveyor's speed depends on the bulk material volume that needs to be conveyed, the bulk material's wear behavior, and the cooling time required in order to cool down hot materials. Generally, materials are conveyed inside the conveyor's top strand, which makes this conveyor suitable for smoothly conveying highly heterogeneous bulk materials.
